Wieldy is built privacy-first. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to wieldyapp.com and the Wieldy application (the "Service").
Wieldy ("we", "us", "our") provides an online platform for marketing agencies to manage their operations. For questions about this policy or your data, contact us at admin@wieldyapp.com.
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account information | Your name, work email, agency name, password (stored only as a secure hash), and role. |
| Your business content | Data you enter into the Service — clients, proposals, invoices, employees, expenses, campaigns, and related records ("Customer Data"). |
| Billing information | Subscription plan and status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number. |
| Usage & analytics | Privacy-friendly, aggregate metrics (e.g. page views, sign-ups, demo starts). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising trackers, and we honor "Do Not Track". |
| Demo lead email | If you enter your email to try the live demo, we store it so we may follow up about Wieldy. |
| Communications | Messages you send us (e.g. support requests). |
| Technical data | Limited log and security data, and a short-lived, non-reversible hash used to estimate unique visitors without identifying you. |
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in to your account (a secure, HTTP-only session cookie). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our website analytics are cookieless. Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is required in most jurisdictions.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run Wieldy, under appropriate contracts, including:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g. merger or acquisition), in which case we will notify affected users.
For the Customer Data you enter about your own clients and staff, you are the data controller and Wieldy acts as a data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required notices or consents to process that information, and for responding to requests from your own clients. We process Customer Data only to provide the Service and per your instructions.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes. You can export key data via CSV while your account is active.
We take security seriously. Measures include encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), passwords stored only as salted hashes (never in plain text), strict per-workspace data isolation enforced on every request, session tokens delivered as secure HTTP-only cookies, and login-attempt protections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of significant incidents as required by law.
Depending on your location (including under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact admin@wieldyapp.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To unsubscribe from demo follow-up emails, use the unsubscribe link in the email or contact us.
Wieldy runs on globally distributed infrastructure, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers.
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
When you connect Google Analytics to Wieldy, we access your Google Analytics data on a read-only basis (scope analytics.readonly) solely to display website metrics — sessions, users, and conversions — inside your Wieldy reports and client portal. We call only the Google Analytics Admin API (to list your properties) and the Google Analytics Data API (to read monthly aggregate totals); we never create, edit, or delete Analytics data. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as needed to provide the Service. You can disconnect at any time, which stops all access and removes the stored authorization token.
Wieldy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
